The eFlows4HPC coordinator Rosa M. Badia from BSC receives the HPDC Achievement Award during the 30th International Symposium on High-Performance Parallel and Distributed Computing (ACM HPDC 2021) on Thursday 24 June at 10:00-11:00 CEST. This prestigious award recognises her innovations in parallel task-based programming models, workflow applications and systems, and leadership in the high performance computing (HPC) research community.
Rosa M. Badia accepts the award with a speech titled “Superscalar programming models: a perspective from Barcelona”. The talk presents a historical perspective of the superscalar programming models for distributed computing and the challenges that foreseen for the near future.
